Hours of Operation

Our hours of operation at the physical location of the Veterans Memorial Park are from 11 am to 5 pm each Thursday  throughout the warm season. The physical market that some of us do goes from May to October. 

If the weather is too hot or going to be bad weather, the market may be canceled for that day.

If you wish to call your favorite vedor to make sure they are there that day or what time they are staying till. You may do so.

Where is the market located?

We do the market in the parking lot right next to the Veterans Park. We are across from the Glendale Heights Pool, kidie corner from the Park District and Senior Center, and near the Village and Police Department. It is all in one area. You can see the market off of Fullerton Ave from the street.

How can I become a vendor at the physical market?

The physical market is free for vending, but you must be approved by Tanya. Please contact Tanya Macko with the Glendale Heights Police Department. She runs the phyical market.

How do I sign up for the Glendale Heights Virtual Market?

At the bottom of this page, you can download the PDF. Then upload it and send it back to glendaleheightsmarket@yahoo.com. 

To join this market on-line it is $20 per year (subject to change if prices change), plus possible other agreed upon amounts by the market vedors involved. This is to help market our vendors and offset the on-line market costs and other advertising needed to make our market thrive.

We are also working on setting up a section if people want to donate to our Virtual Market.

If you have any questions about the virtual account or need to fix your section for product/price change. Just let us know.

What do I need to be a vendor at the physical market?

You may want a 10 x 10 straight leg canopy tent with weights, tables, chairs, tablecloth, and your product. You provide whatever you need for your tent. The physical market provides the space and advertizment. 

Our location gets windy sometimes, so make sure you have a good way to keep your tent in place. We do have some spots in the grass, but some of us like to do it in the parking lot. It is easier for people with walking issues to get to us. Plus, it is easier for people to know where we are.

How much does vending at the physical market cost?

This physical market itself is free for vendors, but you must still sign-up with Tanya.

Are these all the vendors you have at the physical market?

No, as of July 10, 2026. This is not all the vendors we have. These are only the vedors that we have interveiwed who wanted to do the on-line market. We are also working on the pictures to put on the website. This website came active July 10, 2026 by our vendors in order for us to been seen even if we are physically not at an event. We will keep working on this website until all vendors who would like to participate are showcased. How can I receive my items that I order from the website?

This is a good question! 

You and your vendor will make arrangements to get your order. Shipping and receiving is all done by each vendor.

Are the food vendors licensed to sell food?

Yes, all our food vendors have gone through the process to get their license. 

How soon does the face painter need to know in advance about my party or event?

To make sure you get your event/party avaiable with our face painter; it is best to contact her as soon as you know. The earlier the better! Especially in the fall! If you call at last minute, she will not be able to do your party/event.

Does your face painter do individual make-up for an event?

Yes, our face painter does do individual make-up for an event you are going to! However, she does not do scary or evil make-up due to her being a pastor. She can however referr you to someone who is willing to do that kind of make-up.

If I need a specific kind of vendor, but don't see them here. May I contact you to see if you know any to fit my needs?

Yes, you may contact us to try to find a vendor to fit your needs. We will do the best we can to help you!
